 3.5 mile CaniCross takes place at Petrifying Springs Park when the weather and colors are at their best. The events start in a large grassy area leading to tree covered single track trails. The looped course will have rolling hills and perhaps a couple “I hate hills” climbs all to the babbling soundtrack of the Pike River. MORE INFO

Soldier's Pace Annual 5k Canicross - Westbrook

 In addition to the run, there we are anticipating be pet activities, live music, pet and food vendors as well as photography. All proceeds are to benefit “K9s on the Front Line,” a nonprofit organization that works to rescue shelter dogs by training them to be certified service dogs and thus fit to assist suffering PTSD/TBI military veterans.  MORE INFO

 The 3rd Annual Run the Ridge Trail Race, hosted by Discover Downtown Westbrook and Sunset Ridge, will be on October 12, 2019. This is a trail and mowed path course bursting with autumn colors. It's a beautiful course with a few challenging spots. A great goal while you're training in 2019! We have three races - 5K, 10K, and a "K9 5K" (run with your dog).  MORE INFO

Trail Dog Distance Classic is the perfect way to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the fall season with your pooch.  Richard Bong State Recreation Area is the host for this fall ultra-event.   The recreation area encompasses 4,515 acres of rolling grassland, savanna, wetlands, and scattered woodland.  Nature is on display all around and is constantly changing with the seasons.  You can select between 4.5 miles (solo - run/walk/canicross), 9 miles (solo -- run/walk/canicross).  We will be using the Horse Trails and Blue Trail for this event with the Blue Trail being one of the nicest trails, taking you through prairie and woodland, past wetlands, and around Wolf Lake.
